Using AI to Draft a Short Video Script Before Recording
How can AI help draft a short video script?
Use an optional writing assistant to organize a clear promise, explanation and payoff, then rewrite the draft in your own voice. VidFuego records the performance; AI Director's Cut is not a script-generation feature.
Put it into practice
- Give the assistant a specific audience question and the facts you have checked.
- Read the draft aloud, remove unsupported claims and replace phrases you would never say.
- Turn each important sentence into a camera job or demonstration before recording.
A practical script brief
Try: explain one camera-placement mistake to a beginner, show its consequence, then demonstrate the correction. Ask for plain language rather than a supposed viral formula. Keep your factual notes beside the draft so generated examples do not become invented product capabilities or device tests.
| Draft element | Human check |
|---|---|
| Opening | Can this recording deliver the promise? |
| Feature claim | Does the current app actually support it? |
| Shot instruction | Can the available devices show it clearly? |
Turn the approved draft into a two-camera rehearsal
For a short desk lesson, write one sentence naming the problem, two explaining the action and one describing the result. Assign the presenter phone to the explanation and the detail phone to the action. Rehearse from your notes; a teleprompter or an automated agent is not necessary to make this recording useful.
Review the saved take in VidFuego before rewriting the entire draft. A line that is awkward aloud needs different wording; an action hidden by your hand needs different framing. Those are separate problems. If Pro AI Director's Cut suggests a first edit, review its choices against the teaching point rather than assuming an AI-planned script makes every suggested scene correct.
- Remove facts or results you cannot substantiate.
- Name the physical action each camera must show.
- Keep the recording, supported review and export in VidFuego.
Questions creators ask
What information should you give a script assistant?
Provide the audience question, demonstrated task and limits of the claim. Reject invented results before turning a suggested outline into spoken copy.
Does AI Director's Cut write the script?
Its supported role is an assisted first multi-camera selection on Pro. Use separate optional writing support for planning and keep factual script approval with the creator.
A mistake to avoid
A polished AI paragraph can still be too long, inaccurate or awkward to perform.
From idea to recording
Try it with VidFuego

Record synchronized angles from multiple supported devices. Free includes a two-camera Nearby session. Higher camera counts and Anywhere hosting depend on your plan.
Before the full take
Keep the approved script and camera jobs simple enough to rehearse without another production system. AI planning tools are optional; VidFuego handles the supported recording workflow.
Record a short test, review the picture and sound, then adjust the setup. A rehearsal on your actual devices is the quickest way to check whether the workflow fits the scene.
