Filming Golf Lessons at an Outdoor Driving Range

How do you record a golf lesson at a driving range?

At the range, start by finding places where your phones won't get in anyone's way. Film a short test in the actual sunlight before you settle in for the lesson.

Put it into practice

  1. Ask the facility where supports may stand and keep adjacent hitting bays clear.
  2. Record a rehearsal facing the intended direction, checking shadows, glare and the complete club arc.
  3. Check device temperature, battery and saved footage between short sets rather than leaving phones recording continuously.

Choose evidence the recording can actually show

Record the time and orientation of a successful setup so it can be reproduced. When the sun changes, compare a new sample rather than trusting the morning's exposure. Stop filming if the equipment or location disrupts the range's safety rules.

Questions coaches ask

What should be tested at the range itself?

Check permission, safe support positions, the saved image and the actual multi-device connection. Conditions beside busy bays can differ from a rehearsal in an empty room.

What if glare hides the player?

Change an approved camera or lighting relationship and save a new sample. Do not rely on preview brightness or assume an edit can recover detail the recording lost.

A mistake to avoid

A shaded preview can hide a silhouette that becomes obvious only when the exported lesson is viewed indoors.

Try it with VidFuego

Try a short Nearby Squad Fuse in your bay. Check the picture, sound and connection there rather than relying on a test you made at home.

Record synchronized angles from multiple supported devices. Free includes a two-camera Nearby session. Higher camera counts and Anywhere hosting depend on your plan.

Before the full take

Agree on the point you want to teach, then put the phones where they can show it. Keep them outside the swing and ball paths, and save a quick note about the positions for next time.

Record a short test, review the picture and sound, then adjust the setup. A rehearsal on your actual devices is the quickest way to check whether the workflow fits the scene.
